A Not-So-Serious Culinary Escape (With Purpose)
This is food, wine, and sustainability the Quinta Camarena way: seasonal, local, generous, and never too precious. In the Alentejo, what we eat and drink is deeply connected to the land — and this retreat is your invitation to taste that connection properly.
You’ll enjoy healthy seasonal meals, local wines, and visits with the people behind the ingredients — farmers, makers, growers, and producers working with regenerative, community-first practices. Along the way, you’ll see where it all comes from, learn simple artisanal techniques, and experience the aromas, flavours, and stories that make this region so special.
And yes, you can absolutely indulge without making it weird. Between the 24-hour gym, yoga classes, bikes, hiking trails, coastal adventures, and easy outdoor movement, there are plenty of ways to stay active, feel good, and still say yes to the wine.

Paradise on earth. Everything about this place is perfect: the peace, the food, the people, the vibes that permeate it. We have left feeling so grateful and hopeful to be back soon.

There isn't much to do in the village itself, but the quinta is beautiful! Lovely, spacious rooms and a wonderfully quiet environment. The breakfast was fantastic, with freshly baked bread, everything from their own garden. If you love dogs, it is definitely highly recommended; there are 2 sweet creatures roaming around who always want a cuddle!

Nestled inland, Quinta offers unique, tranquil spaces that invite relaxation. The connection with nature, the silence, and the respect for the environment envelop you. Every detail is carefully considered. The trustworthiness and the friendly, personal service from each and every member of the staff are superb. The natural approach to the food offered is noteworthy, featuring products from their own garden or local, seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is peaceful, serene, and deeply respectful.
