A different kind of Retreat

You love the idea of going on a  Yoga retreat, but you´re afraid of getting stuck with people who take it too seriously, and you need more than green juice and whole grains to eat and drink? You want to go on a vacation where you can combine yoga practice, hiking, relaxing, countryside, beach, healthy and delicious food, and natural wine?  We have got the thing for you...

We are a different kind of Yoga Retreat. Our sustainable program mixes wellness, nature, and local culture for a balance of self-care and enjoyment. This “kinda” retreat is for people who practice and love yoga, or they’re just curious about it and all the amazing benefits it brings to your (cliché alert) body and mind. But it’s true.  And also fun.



What’s Included with your stay:

  • 4 or 6 nights at Quinta Camarena with access to all the common areas, pool, gym, gardens, and trails

  • Tour of the property and introduction to the region, local plants, wildlife, and our sustainable practices.

  • Delicious and healthy daily ​brunch and dinner with local, seasonal, and organic products.

  • Daily yoga sessions at The Ground, our studio in the forest. Our certified instructors will personalize the class to accommodate all levels. The classes will be mixing different yoga styles (mostly Hatha and Vinyasa-based). There will be options for total beginners and advanced students.

  • 1 guided coastal hike along the Fisherman's trail with a stop to swim in the ocean and time to relax on the beach.

  • Visit to a Coastal town and a local artisan

  • Wine tasting: Every evening we will present a different wine from a local small sustainable producer

  • Gift bag and welcome cocktail

  • Coffee, tea, fruit and (healthy) cake all day



What's the program like?

Most days will start with an energizing yoga class in the beautiful Yoga Ground, followed by a great brunch prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Sometimes, we may have an extra yoga class in the afternoon.

After breakfast, we might go hiking, hang out on the beach, or visit a nearby town and meet some local artisans. We will talk about the traditions and the history of this amazing region. We will explore the beautiful landscapes of both the countryside and the coast. There will be time to relax and wander on your own. You can also treat yourself with a massage, a sauna session, or a forest bath. If you can't stay still, don't worry, there's a gym, bikes, and plenty of hiking trails to explore. You can find quaint rural towns, green pastures, century-old windmills, lakes, and waterfalls. For extra fun, you can also book extra activities like a surf class, a SUP tour, or Horse riding.

Food & Wine are part of our culture and play an important role in Quinta Camarena. Our concept is healthy, delicious, and sustainable. We avoid industrialized and refined ingredients, and we use what´s coming from our garden, local farmers, and small regional producers. You´ll find lots of organic veggies and fruits, sourdough freshly baked breads, eggs from our chickens, natural cheeses, homemade jams and cakes, wholegrains, and no lack of gluten-free and vegan options.

Relaxing and not taking yourself too seriously is kind of mandatory here… All the rest you can decide when you´re here and go with the flow.
